En esta ensalada de pipino y naranja los ingredients secretos son chile en polvo y jugo de limón.

Ingredientes

  • 2 pepinos
  • 2 naranjas
  • 1 lima o limón (el jugo)
  • 1/2 cucharadita chile en polvo
  • 1/2 cucharadita sal

Preparación

  1. Lávese las manos con agua y jabón.
  2. Lave los pepinos, naranjas y limones o limones amarillos con agua corriente fría.
  3. Corte los pepinos en tiras. Pele y corte las naranjas en pedazos pequeños.
  4. Coloque los pepinos y las naranjas en un tazón mediano. Añada el chile en polvo, el jugo de limón o limón amarillo  y la sal.

Good idea!! In Mexico kids like those kind of snacks. I used to eat carrots, mangos, beets, jicamas, papaya, watermelon, pineapples with lime juice and chili powder (one fruit at the time or fruit salad). <br/>

The flavor depends on how good the oranges are -- if they are bland, the recipe won't be quite as good.
