Your advice to eat more whole grains and less refined products has been amazing since I started. It was strange at first but as I continued, I found it satisfying. It's helping me get in shape.


I lost 20 pounds during this summer eating the suggested amount of veggies FIRST. Then I added the rest of the groups.


'Make half your plate fruits and vegetables' is an easy mantra to remember and implement. When I plan our family dinners, I use this as a guide. Yes, 4 year olds WILL eat vegetables if his/her parents do too. You go, MyPlate!
